Frequently Asked Questions
Got Questions? I’ve Got Answers.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, send me a message — I’m always happy to chat about your dog and your adventure.
Our outdoor adventure sessions typically last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This gives us plenty of time to explore the trail, follow your dog’s natural rhythm and capture stunning environmental art without rushing or tiring out your best friend.
We venture out to three handpicked landscape experiences across Northern Ireland. When you register your interest, you can select your preferred backdrop: The Causeway Coast (including White Park Bay and Dunseverick Castle), The Mourne Mountains Trail, or Murlough Nature Reserve & Beach.
Dress comfortably for a wild, rustic walk! We will be exploring spaces that can get muddy, wet and windswept very quickly. Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots or trail shoes with good grip are essential. I highly recommend breathable layers and a windproof/waterproof jacket. Earthy neutrals, deep greens, ambers and blues photograph beautifully against the scenery — try to avoid bright neon clothing as it can distract from the natural tones of the landscape.
Your dog’s safety and emotional comfort are my absolute top priorities on the trail. If your dog has a high prey drive or cannot be safely let off-lead, please do not worry. Bring them on their usual collar/harness and a standard lead or a long line — I use advanced studio techniques to completely edit out leads, lines and harnesses from your final fine art pieces. If your dog gets excited, barks or needs a few minutes to settle, take a deep breath — I’ve seen it all. We move entirely at your dog’s pace. Truth be told, we like a little character!
A bit of classic Irish mist or dramatic cloud cover actually makes for incredible, atmospheric and cinematic fine art! However, if the forecast predicts heavy driving rain, dangerous gales or unsafe conditions on the coast or mountains, I will contact you 24–48 hours beforehand to safely reschedule our trek.
While my signature collections are carefully built around the unique textures of the Causeway Coast, Murlough and the Mournes, I am always open to discussing meaningful locations that hold a special place in your story. Drop me a message through the contact form, and we can chat about custom trail scouting.
It takes approximately 4 weeks for me to transform your raw trail images into unique pieces of cinematic art. I will let you know as soon as they are ready — you will then be invited to view your images, download your high-resolution files and browse your custom storefront in your private online gallery.
To secure your date and trigger your pre-session vision consultation, I require a £100 booking deposit. Your balance is then split into two manageable milestones: a mid-way installment due 2 weeks before your trail date (£120 for The Base / £200 for The Storyteller), and a final balance due 2 days before we hit the trail (£129 / £199). The best and preferred method of payment is via Bank Transfer (BACs).
You have absolute freedom of choice. You can decide on your custom products right from the start, or wait until your gallery is delivered to see your final images before choosing how to display them. Wall art can be integrated into your initial collection, added at any stage of the process, or ordered from your private online gallery storefront anytime in the future.
Absolutely. I wholeheartedly believe photographs were designed to be printed, held and enjoyed in your home. Both collections include a £50 or £100 print credit to spend inside your integrated Pic-Time online gallery store, where you can browse and order museum-grade canvases, fine art prints and custom frames crafted by the UK’s finest professional print labs.
