People often ask what a typical day looks like. The truth is, no two days are the same — but here’s a glimpse behind the scenes.
Morning: planning & scouting
Mornings usually start with coffee, checking the weather and tide times, and planning light for the evening’s session. Sometimes that means driving out to scout a new location.
Afternoon: editing & client care
Much of the work happens after the shoot. I carefully edit every gallery by hand, reply to enquiries and prepare clients for their upcoming sessions.
Evening: the session
Golden hour is when the magic happens. I arrive early, check the light and make sure everyone feels relaxed — the best photos come when you forget the camera is there.
Then it’s home, back up every image, and look forward to doing it all again.
