There’s no bad time to be photographed in Ireland — each season has its own character. Here’s what to expect throughout the year.
Spring (March – May)
Fresh green fields, wildflowers and longer days. Spring weather is changeable, which often means beautiful, dramatic skies.
Summer (June – August)
Long evenings and late sunsets — sometimes after 10pm. Perfect for golden-hour sessions, but popular dates book up early.
Autumn (September – November)
Warm, golden colours and softer light. Autumn is one of my favourite times for couples and family sessions.
Winter (December – February)
Moody skies, crisp air and quiet locations. Shorter days mean sessions are scheduled around the beautiful low winter sun.
Whatever the season, the hour before sunset is usually the magic time. Explore session types to start planning.
