Ireland is a photographer’s dream. Wild coastlines, ancient castles, glassy lakes and light that changes by the minute — it’s hard to take a bad photo here. If you’re planning a session, these are ten of my favourite places to tell your story.
Along the Wild Atlantic Way
- Cliffs of Moher, Co. Clare – towering cliffs and unforgettable sunsets.
- Dingle Peninsula, Co. Kerry – golden beaches, rolling hills and charming villages.
- Connemara, Co. Galway – mountains, lakes and a wonderfully wild atmosphere.
- Achill Island, Co. Mayo – dramatic sea cliffs and white sand beaches.
- Mizen Head, Co. Cork – rugged headlands at the southern tip of Ireland.
Inland & East Coast Favourites
- Wicklow Mountains – forests, valleys and lakes just outside Dublin.
- Killarney National Park – lakes, woodland and Ross Castle.
- Giant’s Causeway, Co. Antrim – otherworldly basalt columns.
- Lough Tay, Co. Wicklow – the famous “Guinness Lake”.
- Malahide Castle, Dublin – timeless gardens and castle walls.
